Taqi ad-Din Ahmad ibn Taymiyyah (January 22, 1263–1328), full name: Taqī ad-Dīn Abu 'l-ʿAbbās Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥalīm ibn ʿAbd as-Salām Ibn Taymiya al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: تقي الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد السلام بن عبد الله ابن تيمية الحراني‎), was a famous Islamic scholar (ulama), theologian and logician born in Harran, located in what is now Turkey, close to the Syrian border. He lived during the troubled times of the Mongol invasions. As a member of the school founded by Ahmad ibn Hanbal, he sought the return of Islam to its sources, the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

Ibn Al-Qayyim described Allah's Greatness, saying,

He governs the affairs of the various kingdoms and He commands and forbids, creates, sustains, gives death, gives life, gives power, strips power (to and from whom He wills) and alternates the night and day. He gives varying fortunes to people and alternates governments (and states), destroying some and bringing some into existence. His Command and Power are dominant in the heavens and their zones, the earth and all that which is on and in it, in the seas and in the air. His Knowledge has encompassed everything and He counted everything. He hears all types of voices and they do not confuse Him. Rather, He hears each voice in its distinct language and need, and no voice will make Him busy from fulfilling the need of another, and no need will ever escape His Perfect Knowledge (and His Power to deliver). He does not become bored because of the many needs of those who need. His Sight encompasses all that which there is. He sees the movement of a black ant on a barren rock during a dark night. To Him, the Unseen is uncovered end the secret is secret no more, "Whosoever is in the heavens and on Earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring Forth (such as giving honor to some, disgrace to some, life to (some, death to some, etc.)." [55:29] He forgives an evil deed, makes depression vanish and brings reprieve from disasters, relief for whoever needs it, wealth for the poor, guidance for the misguided, light for the lost, help for he who is desperate, fullness for the hungry, cover for the barely clothed, cure for the ill and ease for he who suffers. He accepts he who repents, gives reward for he who does good, gives aid for he who was dealt with injustice, destroys an arrogant person, covers mistakes, gives safety after fear end elevates some people and humiliates others. If those who inhabit His heavens and His earth and all those whom He created, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the most pious heart, His Kingdom will not increase. If all His creation, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the heart of the most wicked heart, this will not decrease from His Kingdom. Also, if all those who inhabit His heavens and His earth, all mankind and all the Jinns, the dead and the living, stand up on one strip of land and each asks Him for his need, and He then fulfils their needs, this will not decrease from what He has a bit. He is the First, nothing is before Him, the Last, nothing is after Him, the Most High, nothing is above Him, and the Most Near, nothing is nearer than Him. He, Exalted and Ever High as He is, is the Best Whom one can and should remember, the only One Who deserves to be worshiped and thanked, the Kindest of all those who own and the Most generous of all those who are asked to give. He is the King Who has no partner, the One Who has no competitor, the Samad (Self-Sufficient) Who has no offspring, and the Ever High, none like unto Him. Everything perishes save His Face and every kingship is bound to perish except His. He will only be obeyed by His Leave, and His Knowledge uncovers all disobedience to Him. When He is obeyed, He thanks for it, and when He is disobeyed, He grants forgiveness (for those who truly repent to Him). Every punishment from Him is just and every bounty is a grace. He is the Closest Witness and the Nearest One with His Perfect Care. He controls the forelocks of everything and has the full records of all deeds end the books of all ages. The hearts are unmasked to Him and the secret is unveiled. His giving and punishing is merely a Command, "Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, ‘Be, and it is!’" [36:82].

"If you are pleased with what Allah has (given you), you will be the richest of men. If you are kind to your neighbour, you will be a believer. If you like others to have what you want for yourself, you will be a Muslim."

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr: Allah’s Apostle said, “Whoever has (the following) four characteristics will be a pure hypocrite: “If he speaks, he tells a lie; if he gives a promise, he breaks it, if he makes a covenant he proves treacherous; and if he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent evil insulting manner (unjust). And whoever has one of these characteristics, has one characteristic of a hypocrite, unless he gives it us.”  (Book#53, Hadith

O ye who believe! If an evil-liver bring you tidings, verify it, lest

ye smite some folk in ignorance and afterward repent of what ye did.

And know that the messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to obey you in much of the government, ye would surely be in trouble; but Allah hath endeared the faith to you and hath beautified it in your hearts, and hath made disbelief and lewdness and rebellion hateful unto you. Such are they who are the rightly guided.

(It is) a bounty and a grace from Allah; and Allah is Knower, Wise.

And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them. And if one party of them doeth wrong to the other, fight ye that which doeth wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah; then, if it return, make peace between them justly, and act equitably. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable.

The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.

O ye who believe! Let not a folk deride a folk who may be better than they (are), not let women (deride) women who may be better than they are; neither defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. Bad is the name of lewdness after faith. And whoso turneth not in repentance, such are evil-doers.

O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a crime. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And keep your duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.

O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have

made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.

The dwellers of the desert say:: We believe. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Ye believe not, but rather say "We submit," for the faith hath not yet entered into your hearts. Yet, if ye obey Allah and His messenger, He will not withhold from you aught of (the reward of) your deeds. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

The (true) believers are those only who believe in Allah and His messenger and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere.

Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Would ye teach Allah your religion, when Allah knoweth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is Aware of all things?

They make it a favour unto thee (Muhammad) that they have surrendered (unto Him). Say: Deem not your Surrender a favour unto me; but Allah doth confer a favour on you, inasmuch as He hath led you to the Faith, if ye are earnest.

Lo! Allah knoweth the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seer of what ye do.

Quran Translation 49: 6 to 18
(187) Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib: Allah's Apostle said, "O so-and-so, whenever you go to your bed (for sleeping) say, 'O Allah! I have surrenderedmyself over to you and have turned my facetowards you, and leave all my affairs to you and depend on you and put my trust in you expectingyour reward and fearing your punishment. There is neither fleeing from you nor refuge but with you. I believe in the Book (Qur'an) which you have revealed and in your Prophet (Muhammad) whomyou have sent.' If you then die on that night, thenyou will die as a Muslim, and if you wake alive in the morning then you will receive the reward." (See Hadith No. 323, Vol. 8) (Book #93, Hadith#580)
(183) Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Prophet "O Allah's Apostle! Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke Allah in my prayers." The Prophet said, "Say: O Allah! I have wronged mysoul very much (oppressed myself), and none forgives the sins but you; so please bestow your Forgiveness upon me. No doubt, you are the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."  (Book #93, Hadith #485)

Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned?

Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.

Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.

Marriage ceremony :
Alhumdulillah, It is the greatest mercy of Allah,(SWT) the Creator of all, that He has blessed us with Islam as a way of life.
Islam does not simply demand of us to pray, but it inculcates in us that we conduct our day-to-day life as prescribed by the Glorious Qur’an and the way shown by the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
Almost every aspect of the marriage ceremony today in our community is alien to Islam, based on pagan tradition handed down to us from our cultures or copied from other communities or from TV and advertisements. Only the Nikah ceremony has remained intact and sadly this event is attended by the least number of guests.
From engagement to honeymoon and everything in between stag/hen nights, Mendhi party, Mo’harue, the hiring of a wedding car, the arrival party for the bride, the blessing of the groom, the wedding and engagement rings, the wedding dress, the tiara (crown), the wedding cake, the exhibiting of the bride and the groom to the public, the photographic sessions, the return of the bride to her parents after a fortnight and many more are all customs derived from non-Islamic cultures. As for the Muslims from the Indian sub-continent they have amassed both Christian, Hindu traditions and Bolleywood in their weddings. It has now come to the point that even for pious Muslim families, it is very hard to resist such customs. Moulana’s have also become helpless to stop these nonsensical practices.
Now a day we complain about marriage problems in large numbers. It is these customs, which has no basis in Shari’ah, thus become classified as innovations. We do most important ebada (Marriage) in innovation (Biddah).This is also one of the main reasons for failing marriages. Islam allowed us to practice any culture customs within the Islamic boundaries. My humble appeal to Scholars is to guide us on these matters before we fall prey to disaster.

I believe all mankind believes in God , their inner soul agrees that there is God or some kind of supernatural power .This world can not come to existence by chance. Once you believe in God you must agree that he has provided us everything we need - Air, Water , Food ,Fuel and all sorts of energy required . So how do you disbelieve that God has not shown us path to live in this world without any guidance ? 

			Islam is the Divine guidance from the beginning of creation of mankind on this earth - Messenger from God like Abraham ,Moses , Jesus , Mohammed were came to renew the same old message of submitting to will of God. That is Islam .Islam is the Call to eternal progress, individual and communal, spiritual and social, political and economic.It is in essence a Call to revolution. A revolution against corruption, falsehood, greed, ignorance . A revolution against wrong or evil behavior .

Salaat  is absolutely necessary for every Muslim who has embraced Islam and made a declaration of the primary article of faith "The Kalima". The Kalima is acceptance without any reservation of the belief that "There is no god but Allah and Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) is his messenger". By accepting and believing in this basic principal any one can embrace Islam. Salaat is the basic pillar and therefore obligatory on all Muslims after attaining the age of 10. It is only the children before the age of ten years, the very sick, the seriously indisposed, those on a long journey who are given concession. 			As for A'ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in power? Could they not see that Allah Who created them, He was mightier than them in power? And they denied Our revelations.

The Era of Abraham:


									
Abraham, who earned the title of the friend of God, was chosen to be the leader and guide of humanity as well as the progenitor of the late prophets.


									
 (Al-Nisa: 125)


									
Who is better in religion than he who surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good (to men) and followeth the tradition of Abraham, the upright? Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend.


									
(Al-Baqarah: 124)


									
And (remember) when his Lord tried Abraham with (His) commands, and he fulfilled them, He said: Lo! I have appointed thee a leader for mankind. (Abraham) said: And of my offspring (will there be leaders)? He said: My covenant includeth not wrong-doers.


									
Describing the exalted position to which Abraham was raised and made a model in religion and piety for all the Unitarians, the Quran asks the faithful to follow is lead.


									
(An-Nahl: 120-123)


									
Lo! Abraham was a nation obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the idolaters;


									
Thankful for His bounties; He chose him and He guided him unto a straight path.


									
And We gave him good in the world, and in the Hereafter he is among the righteous.


									
And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow the religion of Abraham, as one by nature upright. He was not of the idolaters.


									
 Ever since the Truth was revealed to Abraham, he continues to be the leader of mankind, and shall continue to be so till the Day of Judgement. The last prophet sent to mankind during the era of Abraham was Muhammad, and the people raised to hold the banner of Abraham aloft are the Muslims. The holy Quran makes it clear in unambiguous terms :


									
( Al-Hajj: 78)


									
And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham . He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper!


									
The distinguishing feature of the leadership of Abraham and his call consists of the Unity of God, unalloyed and free from all traces of paganism, animism, pantheism and dualism. It rejects even the slightest trace of polytheistic cult as unsanctioned and graceless. And then Abraham beseeched God for his progeny in these words:

There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.


												
 


												
Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities. They bring them out of light into darkness. Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein.


												
 


												
Bethink thee of him who had an argument with Abraham about his Lord, because Allah had given him the kingdom; how, when Abraham said: My Lord is He Who giveth life and causeth death, he answered: I give life and cause death. Abraham said: Lo! Allah causeth the sun to rise in the East, so do thou cause it to come up from the West. Thus was the disbeliever abashed. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.

God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God.2  Even Jesus himself rejected this.  God has said in the Quran:

														
											

										
									

									


									
 Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.”  The Messiah said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord.  Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell).  For the wrongdoers,3 there will be no helpers.”  (Quran, 5:72)


									
God is not a trinity.  God has said in the Quran:


									
 Indeed, they disbelieve who say, “God is the third of three (in a trinity),” when there is no god but one God.  If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness?  For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)

We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.  


						
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers.

You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).

They only are the (true) believers whose hearts feel fear when Allah is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited unto them they increase their faith, and who trust in their Lord;


									
Who establish worship and spend of that We have bestowed on them.


									
Those are they who are in truth believers. For them are grades (of honour) with their Lord, and pardon, and a bountiful provision.
